Can you have too much happiness?
I don’t know if you have seen the film about his life but it is very funny and you will almost certainly laugh and cry your way through it in equal measure.
In the film Patch is doing what I love to do, help people, he is doing this by providing free healthcare at the same time as training to be a doctor. He has some interesting techniques including making people laugh to help them to get better. I won’t tell you when, as I don’t want to spoil the film for you, but at one point in the film it transpires that he has been accused of ‘excessive happiness’ as if it were a bad thing!
I have to be a bit careful about this as I do tend to have lots of energy and want to share what I have learnt so that others can benefit It the same way I have. I was talking to someone yesterday and realised that I was going too deep too soon, I am just grateful that I could see it happening and could stop before the door would have been closed forever for her…
When Will You Be Ready?
Not sure who said it but there is a saying that goes something like ‘When the student is ready, the teacher will appear’. Ask yourself, how did you end up reading this today?
I am grateful to those that have already shared their journey with me and allowed me to help them in any way at all, be it in a big or small way.
I would love to hear from you and find out where you are on your journey. You will be helping me at the same time of course, we can all learn from each other. (That could be quite deep if you read between the lines – get in touch!)
Have a wonderful life, remember, there are only two things certain in this life, one day you will die and the other… … You will have to live every day until you do.
So be happy and enjoy the journey, life is NOT a destination!
PS – I have been blessed by being in the right place at the right time for people in their lives. Check out what one of those people had to say here.
